Join Me for Coffee is a long-running series at MASS AWIS that provides a great opportunity for women in science who are seeking career development or simply inspiration.

These events are a great opportunity for participants to practice networking in an intimate setting, a skill that helps open doors to meaningful careers in STEM. The upcoming ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event will feature Ashley Ogawa and Indrani Mukherjee. If you would like to participate in this ‘Join Me for Coffee’ event, first complete the event application form. A committee will then review all applications and select 6-8 participants for each event. Selected applicants will be notified by email at least one week prior to the event.Ashley Ogawa-Wong is a senior medical writer at Merck & Co., Inc., where she prepares documents that are required by regulatory agencies to assess the safety and efficacy of a drug or biologic for marketing approval, such as clinical trial protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, and Clinical Study Reports. Indrani Mukherjee is the manager of stewardship communications at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she writes scientist profiles, crafts proposals, and shares some of theBroad's latest discoveries on the web and in print. She earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry fromDartmouth College.
