A Lunch & Learn Program with Laura E. Flores, BA

This 1-hour seminar will introduce participants to science communication through graphic design and data visualization. Participants will leave the seminar feeling confident in their ability to create dazzling graphics for presentations, publications, social media, and other platforms that will get their research noticed, cited, and shared. Participants will also be provided with numerous resources for designing graphs, tables, charts, schematics, PowerPoint decks, and publication-ready figures. Additional topics will include visual abstracts, qualitative data visualization, scientific illustrators, and time management for figure designers.
