Most recently, Swatee served as the CIO of Enterprise Data Platforms at Barclays where she led the strategy and technical delivery of next-gen technology and data capabilities in a hybrid, multi-cloud environment as well as E2E Machine Learning Platform and Realtime Streaming Platform. Prior, she was head of Big Data Platform Engineering and Distinguished Architect at American Express for more than 8 years and led the development of global platforms and leading-edge applications including multi-petabyte big data and AI ecosystem, and the launch of “Amex Offers”. Earlier in her career, Swatee also held roles at PwC and McKinsey. Swatee has a wealth of expertise in big data, AI, machine learning, cloud, blockchain, and enterprise data and analytics. She has a proven track record in leading strategy, design, and tech delivery of revenue generating, customer-centric, AI-powered applications with major global firms. Swatee has tremendous followership in the industry and is known for her thought leadership, innovation and developing the best talent. She holds a PhD from Duke University with focus on machine learning and is credited with multiple patents in data, AI and cloud. She is also the author of several industry publications. |
