Living and Leading During Times of Uncertainty with Elizabeth Weingarten
Thursday, June 12, 2025, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
Category: National Webinars

Scientists ask questions and search for answers. However, some questions don’t have concrete answers such as: What should my next career move be? Am I happy doing what I’m currently doing? Who do I want to become?

Elizabeth Weingarten suggests that questions and uncertainty aren’t like weeds, sprouting in our lives and forcing us to determine how to eliminate them. They aren’t a thing to be tackled. We can move with them, carry them, and live with them. Inspired by Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke, Weingarten invites us to reflect on questions as an opportunity to think and to grow.

Drawing from her book, How to Fall in Love with Questions: A New Way to Thrive in Times of Uncertainty, she shares:

  • Scientific studies that explain our discomfort with uncertainty.
  • Stories from people struggling with their own challenges and questions.
  • A question map and other solutions to help you listen to your questions.
  • Ways to reframe or refine the questions you are asking.
  • Strategies for living with and/or letting go of questions.

This session is for anyone navigating transitions, feeling stuck in the ambiguity of “what’s next,” or struggling with anxiety or uncertainty. Elizabeth shares practical strategies for turning doubt into momentum, reframing uncertainty as a source of strength and finding a way through—even when the future feels unclear.
