Category: National Webinars

Shift your mindset from managing to coaching, from telling to asking questions, with the outcome of enhancing behavioral change and improving performance of individuals and teams.

In this workshop, coaching is defined and then contrasted with mentoring and consulting with two experienced coaches providing demonstrations for clarity. The first half of the workshop is spent on shifting to a coaching mindset by asking open-ended questions, withholding judgment, trusting intuition, and adopting a perspective of curiosity. The second half of the workshop introduces a four-step coaching model based on John Whitmore’s G.R.O.W. approach.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define coaching as contrasted with mentoring and consulting.
  • Explore a coaching mindset as opposed to a management mindset.
  • Identify and practice the four steps of Whitmore’s G.R.O.W. coaching model.
